I have been having serious problems with my 2015 Audi Q5's oil consumption. I had to change the oil every 800 miles, and now that cylinder 3 isn't compressed, the engine is destroyed. My car has been out of commission for more than a year, and Audi refuses to fix it. šŸ˜ž

The mileage is just over 95,000. Iā€™ve been looking for shops, but the quotes are steep. Do you know any reputable places that specialize in Audi engine repairs?

The 2.0T engines in the 2009-2012 models had a bit of a problem with burning through too much oil, but they fixed it with upgraded piston rings starting in late 2012, and that pretty much solved the issue.

Thanks for the info! My 2015 has the 2.0T, but it seems Audi didnā€™t address the oil consumption issue in later models.

This is something I knew. It is curious he is having an old issue with a newer model.
