Is snagging a used 2023 Q5 worth it?

So I've got my eye on my buddy's used 2023 Q5, and I gotta say, I'm loving the look of it. Hes tossing out a pretty sweet deal too. But I've heard some rumblings about engine problems with this year's model. Is that for real? And if it is, just how bad are these engine issues? I'm seriously thinking about snagging it but I don't want to end up with a lemon. Any tips on how I can give this ride a thorough once-over to make sure it's trouble-free?

I recently picked up a 2023 Q5 PHEV Prestige trim in February, and it's been fantastic! The sport seats are incredibly comfortable, and the interior is remarkably quiet thanks to the acoustic glass. The air suspension adds another layer of comfort with its smooth and adjustable ride. No issues about the engine you're talking about. Overall, it's a truly impressive car.

Check the CarFax and take it to a mechanic. They can check if the engine's okay.

I haven’t heard of anything like that. I’d say just trust your buddy.
