We recently moved to the EU with my ‘23 Q5, and I'm having some trouble getting the infotainment system to hook up to the cellular network. Anyone else run into this when importing a US car to the EU? Do I need to tweak any settings or update the software to make it work? Also, are there any other potential issues or challenges I should be aware of?

Uhm pretty sure the connectivity issues with the infotainment system are caused by differences in cellular network bands and regional settings. My best advice is to swing by an Audi dealership for a quick checkup and maybe a reprograming to ensure full functionality. Hope that helps!

Yeah I was actually wondering if the regional settings could be the issue. I’ll definitely swing by an Audi dealership to see if they can do a reprograming or update for me. Btw any other common problems when moving a US spec car over to the EU? Like with the nav or emissions systems? Just trying to cover all my bases!. Thanks.

You might need to update the software or adjust network settings to make it compatible with EU carriers. and check if the car’s cellular hardware supports European frequencies, as that could be an issue.
