I’m looking to upgrade my 2014 Audi Q5 2.0T. Got an APR tune already, but I’m thinking about throwing a small turbo kit in the mix. I don’t want to go too crazy and end up with reliability issues, though. Anyone here with experience upgrading turbos on this engine? Any solid kits or parts you’d recommend?

First, look for brands that have a solid reputation, like CTS Turbo, Unitronic, and APR. CTS Turbo has a Stage 2+ turbo kit that could be a good fit for your needs without overdoing it.
Second, be sure to get supporting mods like upgraded intercoolers, fuel injectors, and possibly a larger intake to handle the added airflow and prevent any reliability issues.
After, monitor engine temps and oil changes more frequently as these mods can put additional stress on your engine. I hope it helps.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely check out CTS Turbo and Unitronic. Supporting mods make sense, especially with the extra airflow, don’t want to be replacing parts every few months. How’s the long-term reliability on your setup, though? Any issues I should be aware of?

I've had a few buddies throw turbo upgrades on their 2.0T engines, and honestly, as long as you stick with solid parts and don’t push the limits too much, they’ve had good luck. The key is to keep everything balanced, don’t just slap on the turbo kit and call it a day. You’ll want to keep a close eye on your fuel system, and like @AudiQ5Driver said, those supporting mods are crucial.
