Start-stop system on the Audi Q5

I just got my Q5, and I have to say it's as smooth as butter! I love how refined it feels on the road. But there's one thing that irritates me, the start-stop system. It's like a constant battle! Is anyone else frustrated with the start-stop?

Totally agree. This seems totally unnecessary. Audi should offer the option to allow us disable this feature.

You can get an OBD-II scanner like OBD11 to disable it permanently.

well we couldn't disable it permanently, the manufacturer gives us the freedom to disable it temporarily but not permanently. All I do is press the switch to disable it, its just a hassle because I have to press it everytime I start the car.
