So my wife's been eyeing Audi Q5s and seriously considering on getting one. Every time she spots one, it grabs her attention like no other car brand does. Honestly, I'm starting to like it too. But here's the thing, I dont have much experience with Audi vehicles. Now, I've got tons of questions swirling around in my head. Anyone here with firsthand experiences with the Audi Q5? I'm curious about general observations, pros, and cons, especially regarding potential repair costs. Also, with interest rates likely on the rise, do you think now's a good time to buy? Not asking for financial advice, just want to know your thoughts on timing. Lastly, how does car buying work amidst the chip shortage? Can I order a customized Audi Q5, or am I limited to whats in stock? Excited to hear your insights!

Prepaid maintenance plans like AudiCare can help you save money in the long run on scheduled maintenance. Consider higher trims like the Prestige or Premium Plus. These trims may increase the price slightly above $60k-$70k, but the added features might be worth it. I've had my Audi for over a year now, and it's a blast to drive. It handles well and offers a smooth ride, and my family loves it too!

I owned a 2006 A3 for six years and it was a fantastic car! Never had any reliability issues with this brand. Sadly, I had to sell it for an important reason.

I was in the same boat last year, trying to balance practicality with a premium ride. If you're worried about long-term costs, Audi's warranty covers most of the big stuff early on, but after that, maintenance can be higher than a Honda. If you plan to keep it long-term, maybe look into an extended warranty. Interest rates are climbing, but some dealers still have lower APR promos for in-stock models.
