Been wrenching on cars for years, so I've seen my fair share of part prices. But my wife's new '18 Audi Q5 is taking the cake! $120 for a flimsy plastic license plate bracket? And $39 for that tiny plastic roof rack wrench? Whaaaat?! Is this the new normal for Audi, or am I just missing something? I'm gonna faint from future repair costs!

Yeah, I totally get the frustration, those prices can feel pretty over the top! Audi (and other luxury brands) definitely charge a premium, even for basic stuff like a plate bracket or a tiny wrench. It’s mostly about the branding and the quality standards they stick to, but it can still sting when you’re used to more reasonable pricing.
