So yesterday, I hop into my trusty 2010 Q5, and wouldn't you know it, the keyless door sensor decides to call it quits, just like that! Now, I'm left scratching my head wondering how to fix this. Is there some secret process or key setup I need to do to revive these door sensors? The weirdest part is, the trunk's still doing its thing, and the doors happily respond to the key fob. But this sensor? Nope, not having it. Starting to think there might be some gremlins chilling inside the car's computer. Any advice before I go full DIY mode?

Have you had any luck fixing the sensor issue? I’m curious if you found a solution or if it’s still acting up.

Had the same problem. The door sensor project kinda went south. I couldn't get the passenger side working for the life of me, and then things got worse. The rear door bolt just popped out and vanished inside the door! Turns out I'd loosened it up too much while fiddling with the sensors. Had to tear the whole door panel off to get it back, and that's when I decided 'enough is enough!' Still have the sensors lying around, and maybe I'll get a tech to look at it someday, but for now, I'm just living with it. Honestly, I should've stopped after the driver's side coz that was the only one I really needed anyway. If I ever get this thing sorted, I'll be sure to let you know!
