We're currently using a 2019. Zero repairs so far, and we always keep up with maintenance (had Audi Care too). The warranty just expired last month and we're wondering about the extended warranty. Our Audi history suggests we should be fine without one, but new cars are trickier these days. Worried a major repair on this could break the bank.

Since warranties typically exclude consumable parts, you might consider saving the warranty money for future repairs. This way, you'll have a financial buffer when you eventually need to replace those parts.

Do you have car insurance? It's important to have it in case of unexpected accidents.

Hey @bottegaveneta, what did you end up doing? Did you decide to get the extended warranty, or are you rolling the dice without it?

I think if you're keeping up with maintenance and driving gently it's better to save the warranty money for future repairs. Warranties don’t cover wear items and some companies have tricky exclusions so I usually pass on them
