Audi Q5 hybrid charging flap glitching

I'm having trouble with my charging flap! Regardless of how many times I push it, the flap will not open. Before I try anything drastic, does anyone have any suggestions for getting it to work again?

Some folks I’ve seen online have had success using a thin plastic card or used credit card to gently nudge it open. Just be careful not to scratch your paint.
