I’ve been having issues with my 2011 Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI and could use your help. I’ve been getting a gearbox fault message that says it's "safe to drive". I’m not entirely sure what’s causing it or if I should be concerned. I’ve noticed an intermittent handbrake error popping up while driving. It doesn’t directly affect the car’s performance, but it’s just worrying.
I haven’t had the chance to take it to a mechanic yet, so I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. Is this a common issue with this model? Could it be related to sensors, software, or something more serious like the gearbox or handbrake system itself? I’d rather go into the workshop with some idea of what might be wrong than go in blind.
