Q5 rear passenger door lockout

Picked up a sweet Q5, but having a strange issue - the rear passenger door won't lock at all, neither with the key fob nor manually using the interior switch. Anyone else face this before? Hoping to avoid a trip to the dealer if possible.

It sounds like it could be your door lock actuator causing the issue. Another possibility is the child safety locks getting stuck.

Any updates on the door issue? If you haven’t already, try checking the door latch mechanism and fuses. A quick reset might help too..

I agree. I had a similar problem and had to replace the whole mechanism.

It sounds like the issue might be with the door lock mechanism itself if you can’t lock it manually either.
